Bambu A1 · Fits the 256 mm bed
Print both end discs flat outside-face down, collars up, and the core tube upright. PETG, 100% infill; no supports. Preview and STL show all three pieces with 4 mm gaps. The store reserves an 11 mm bed margin.
One three-piece bobbin kit per quantity. Dry-fit, bond with a PETG-compatible adhesive and fully cure before use; adhesive is separate. Physical print, fit and spinning tests are pending.
Match a straight shaft, finished length and unequal end sizes. Optional V brake grooves. One three-piece PETG bobbin kit; adhesive assembly required.
Example dimensions only. Measure your existing bobbin and compare shaft, groove and flyer clearance before ordering.
Measure an existing bobbin and its straight shaft
Use calipers on the shaft and both bobbin ends. Copy the existing bobbin’s end-to-end length, flange thicknesses, core diameter and brake groove. Leave the same free axial movement and clearance to the flyer and hooks. Shaft clearance is added once to diameter; assembled length is your finished target, with no automatic length allowance.
The preview shows the three printed pieces laid out for printing, not an assembled bobbin. Dry-fit both tube ends fully against the flange seats, check the bore on your shaft, then bond square with a PETG-compatible adhesive and let it fully cure. Keep adhesive out of the bore and brake groove. Adhesive and shaft are separate.
Straight shafts and plain hubs only. This design has no bearings, stepped bores, drive whorl or keyed drive. Compare all dimensions with your original before ordering. Physical print, fit, balance and spinning tests are pending; no speed or wheel compatibility is claimed.
Replace an unusual straight-shaft bobbin using measured length, shaft size and independent end diameters. Add a V brake groove to either end. One three-piece PETG kit per quantity; adhesive assembly required. Physical print, fit and spinning tests are pending. Presets do not promise wheel compatibility. Measure an existing working bobbin and its actual shaft with calipers. Set both end diameters and thicknesses, finished length, winding core diameter, shaft clearance and optional V groove width, depth and position from each outside end face. The center tube seats inside two raised collars; the displayed winding span excludes them. Dry-fit, bond square using a PETG-compatible adhesive and let it fully cure before use. Adhesive and shaft are separate. Straight shafts and plain hubs only; no bearings, stepped bores, drive whorl or keyed drive. Preserve the original axial free play and flyer clearance. Print discs outside-face down, collars up, and tube upright, PETG at 100% infill without supports. Preview and STL show all three pieces with two 4 mm gaps; the complete layout must fit the A1. Price follows generated material volume and surface area. Physical print, fit, bond, balance and spinning testing are pending; no speed rating or wheel compatibility is claimed.
