Bambu A1 · Fits the 256 mm bed
Print the grating face flat on the bed, sleeve upward. Black PETG, 100% infill, 0.4 mm nozzle; no supports. Clear all stringing from the slits before use. The store reserves an 11 mm bed margin.
One slip-over mask per quantity. Lift by the tab, keep the face clear of the glass, and remove after focusing. Physical print, fit and optical testing are pending. Nighttime use only; never a solar filter.
Fit a measured round dew shield or lens hood. Independent optical pattern and focal length. One black PETG nighttime focusing mask with removal tab.
Example only. Measure the actual round hood, check the clear opening and keep the mask face clear of the optics.
Measure the hood, not the advertised lens size
Use calipers on a straight, round section of the dew shield or lens hood. Clearance is added once to diameter. Check that the sleeve clears protrusions for its full depth and that the front rim stops the face before it reaches any glass. Petal hoods, tapered ends, threads and inside mounting need another design.
Set the grating pattern to cover the optical opening while leaving the displayed seating rim. Use the working focal length, including any reducer or Barlow. First-order spacing is the starting choice; third order makes a coarser pattern for short telephoto examples. Slit and bar widths remain equal. No focusing accuracy or brand fit is promised.
One black PETG mask per quantity. Lift by the tab and remove after focusing on a bright star. Physical print, fit and optical testing are pending. Nighttime focusing only; this is never a solar filter.
Fit an unusual telescope dew shield or round lens hood using its measured outside diameter. Set the pattern diameter and working focal length independently. One black PETG slip-over mask with a removal tab per quantity. Nighttime star focusing only. Physical print, fit and optical testing are pending; presets make no equipment-fit claim. Measure the actual round hood outside diameter with calipers, not the objective or filter-thread label. Add total diameter clearance once; check the full sleeve depth for protrusions and keep the grating face clear of the glass. Set the pattern diameter to cover the optical opening while preserving a 3 mm seating rim to the measured hood edge. Working focal length includes any reducer or Barlow. The classic pattern has three regions at 0 and plus/minus 20 degrees, a solid T support web and equal slit/bar widths. Period equals diffraction order times focal length divided by factor. Third-order spacing is coarser for short telephoto examples. Slits and bars must each be at least 1.2 mm; the pattern spans at least eight periods. Only straight round outside mounts; no threads, petal hoods, taper or inside mounting. Print grating face down, sleeve up, black PETG at 100% infill with a 0.4 mm nozzle and no supports. The complete part including its 12 mm removal tab must fit the A1. Clear stringing from all slits. Lift by the tab and remove after focusing on a bright star. Nighttime use only; never a solar filter. Price follows generated material volume and surface area. Physical print, fit, opacity and optical testing are pending; no focusing accuracy or equipment compatibility is promised.
An open card rack with sloped supports and a central stop.
