Made for your needles, yarn and workshop
These six families are original dimension-driven designs by Devan / 3DPrinterVerse. No reference meshes, artist outlines or character sculpts are used. Generic serpent, tentacle and dragon motifs are our own geometric drawings. Each product rebuilds locally in your browser and downloads as an STL.
Custom buttons expands the leaf range into 21 styles. Diameter measures the largest span of one button; the entire chosen set appears in the preview. Choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 sewing holes and their diameter. A rear shank replaces the main face holes with one horizontal eye of that diameter; the cat’s optional whisker holes remain decorative. Ring and serpent buttons keep their central opening. The spool styles have four raised pegs and a central opening for knitting cord; use a diameter of at least 30 mm for easier handling. Print sew-through buttons flat, and shank buttons face-down with support as needed for relief.
Needle caps are supplied in flexible TPU. US presets span 0–15 with commonly used intermediate sizes; the numeric shaft field also accepts metric sizes from 1.5–12 mm. US 12 and 14 have no standard equivalent in the cited chart. Use the actual diameter in millimetres from your needles. The grip value makes the bore smaller than the shaft by that amount; reduce it if caps are too tight. Each cap has a closed 2.4 mm tip. Print the closed end on the bed.
The WPI gauge has an open wrap window whose parallel edges are exactly 25.4 mm apart. Wrap yarn side by side across the window, without stretching or overlapping, and count the strands in the inch. An engraved reference includes weights 0–7, and an optional inscription accepts up to 14 letters, numbers, spaces, hyphen, plus or period. Print at 100% scale. Compare the printed window to a ruler.
Needle-size presets and approximate WPI ranges use the Craft Yarn Council needle chart and WPI reference. WPI depends on wrapping tension and is a starting point; make a gauge swatch for the project.
The DPN box has low dividers to separate needles; the garage has an open cradle for a project in progress. Needle length is usable length, with 4 mm of total internal end clearance plus the end walls. Needle count and diameter set the cavity width. Both have a long side opening so the fabric can remain on the needles. The preview lays out the tray and lid side by side, flat on one plate. For a slide lid, insert from the lowered end. For a snap lid, flip the lid over the tray and align the side opening; two end tongues engage matching dimples. Fit allowance is 0.3 mm per side. PETG is recommended for the snap tongues.
The extrusion vertex uses two or three mounting planes and triangular gussets. Profile presets are 2020 and 3030. M3, M4, M5 and M6 options control screw clearance, with shallow head recesses. T-nuts, bolts and extrusion are separate. Match the actual slot and head dimensions before assembly. PETG is recommended for fixtures; physical load testing has not been performed.
All layouts are checked against a 245 mm working envelope within the A1’s 256 mm bed. Impossible hole webs, oversized sets and overlong case parts block purchase and STL download. Physical print testing is pending; the fit check is not a slicer simulation. Pricing uses the estimated solid volume of every item in the set and both case parts, plus the store’s material and machine rates. Checkout recalculates the price from the saved measurements.
