Drawer rail socket: design & fit notes
This original design receives a plain rectangular drawer-rail end in a closed-back sleeve. Its mounting plate has two round through holes. It suits measured replacements when a standard rear socket does not match your rail or screw positions.
Measure the entire rail end with calipers, including any rolled edges. Width and height describe the rail, and total clearance is added once to each. The socket mouth has an outward 45° bevel. Insertion depth runs from the opening to the closed back, including that bevel.
Screw spacing is measured center to center. Socket offset is measured from that screw row to the center of the rectangular opening: positive means above when installed upright. The plate grows automatically to leave room around the socket and screw heads. Screw-head access diameter reserves space for the head or washer; it does not enlarge the through hole.
Use a solid cabinet mounting surface and suitable pan-head screws or washers. Hardware is separate. This geometry does not reproduce peg-in fixings, V-notches, retention hooks or a proprietary locking mechanism. Presets are example dimensions and do not establish brand compatibility.
Print in PETG at 100% infill with the plate flat on the bed and the opening upward. The model checks screw access, remaining mouth walls and the store’s 245 mm usable area within the A1’s 256 mm bed. These checks establish geometry and bed fit. Physical fit and load testing are pending; there is no load rating.
The default socket is $12 before shipping and tax. Changed measurements adjust the price using the socket’s solid volume, surface area and the store’s PETG material and machine rates. The estimate includes setup and is recalculated by the server at checkout.
